Access

The island is accessible by ferryboat via the port of Kavala and Keramoti. Kavala and Keramoti are connected with Egnantia Highway (E-90 ), which crosses the entire north Greece and is linked with the rest of Greece.

From Kavala
The ferry goes from Kavala to Skala Prinos and the journey takes an hour and fifteen minutes. During the summer, there are about 5 times per day. From Prinos you can reach Potos by bus or car. With direction South, you follow signs for Prinos, Skala Sotiros, Skala Kallirachi, Skala Maries, Limenaria and Potos. A few hundred meters after the central intersection of Potos, turn right onto side street you meet the sign Studios Suzanna.

From Keramoti
The ferry arrives from Keramoti to Limenas (Thassos). The trip takes about 35 minutes and there is a boat every half hour during the day. From the port you can reach Potos by bus or car. Follow the signs to Skala. From Prinos you can reach Potos by bus or car. With direction South, you follow signs for Prinos, Skala Sotiros, Skala Kallirachi, Skala Maries, Limenaria and Potos. A few hundred meters after the central intersection of Potos, turn right onto side street you meet the sign Studios Suzanna.

By plane
There is no airport on the island of Thassos, but Alexander the Great Airport (KAV) is 27km from Kavala and just 17km. from Keramoti, where you can arrive by car or taxi. At the airport Alexander the Great (KAV) there are daily flights to and from Athens (50 minutes) and many flights (mainly charters) and from various European cities. Furthermore, Thessaloniki, which is two hours from Kavala, has an international airport and also benefits from several low cost airlines. You can reach Kavala or Keramoti by car or bus.

There is a regular bus service from Potos to other destinations on the island. If you wish, you can rent a car or a motocycle from rental services that can be found throughout the island.
