Potos is the most popular village of the island.It is located 45km from the city of Thassos. In older days it was the harbor for the people of the village Theologos. Just before Potos you will pass by Peukari.The place took its name from the nearby pine forest. The beach here is one of the most famous on the island for its deep and clear waters and the water sports centre. In the region there are also numerous hotels and rooms for renting next to the sea,as well as taverns and coffee shops.
